With 6 shots down and 2 to go, mom is nearing completion of the first stages of her stem cell collection and transfusion. Everything is on schedule for the medical staff to begin extracting her stem cells on Monday. Her temperature issue quickly resolved itself the other night. The following day she was given an IV transfusion of antibiotics just to be sure, but her blood counts and all have looked great so far. Her arm continues to give cause her pain, however she seems to be in better spirits. There’s not much new to report as of now. We are preparing for a cold night as our furnace stopped working earlier this evening. We cannot wait for the warm weekend to begin! I will post more as it unfolds.
